About the Forget Farm
Behind the Forget Farm stands the Forget family, who have cultivated the lands of Saint-François for more than nine generations in Laval. Passionate about our profession, we wanted to highlight market gardening so everyone could have access to the excellent local products.
Our kiosk opened its doors to the public in 2016. Since that time, offering local products made and grown in Québec has increased significantly.
In 2018, in addition to the U-Pick activities, we began to offer agrotourism activities to our visitors.
The following year, we set up a kitchen in the kiosk so we could transform part of our harvests into homemade products. Such as pies, fruit crumbles, canned food, just to name a few.
In February 2020, two new greenhouses were put into production. We advanced by a month our product offering. Starting with the tomato, pepper, eggplant and cucumber harvests.
Having to adapt to the Covid-19 crisis, our crop plan had to be changed. We had to double crop production in order to meet the pressing demand for local products.
